The ByteBusters Scam Prevention Hotline is a service provided by ByteBusters Consulting, LLC. The hotline is designed to help individuals determine whether an email, call, text message, or other communication may be a scam. By using this service, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
2. Free Services
The following services are provided free of charge when calling the Scam Prevention Hotline:
Review of a suspicious call, message, email, or other communication
Investigation of the potential scam
Advice on how to proceed safely
3. Paid Services
The following services are not free and are subject to ByteBusters' standard service terms and pricing:
Fixing computer issues
Resolving problems caused by engaging with a scam, such as clicking phishing links or installing malicious software

4. Liability Disclaimer
ByteBusters Consulting, LLC. provides scam analysis and recommendations based on the information provided by the caller. While we make every effort to help identify scams and advise on best practices, we do not guarantee complete protection against fraud or scams. The final decision of how to proceed and the responsibility of keeping information safe and secure lie with the caller. ByteBusters Consulting, LLC. is not liable for any financial loss, data breaches, or damages resulting from scam interactions—whether before or after contacting the hotline. We strongly encourage users to take independent precautions, such as contacting their bank or legal authorities when necessary.
5. Data Privacy & Call Recording
ByteBusters Consulting, LLC. may record or transcribe calls made to the Scam Prevention Hotline for quality assurance, training, and case tracking purposes. By continuing with the call, the caller acknowledges that recording or transcription may occur. If the caller does not wish to be recorded or transcribed, they must inform the agent at the beginning of the call, and the recording/transcription will be stopped. No personally identifiable information is required to use the hotline, and callers may remain anonymous if they choose.
6. Abuse & Misuse Policy
The ByteBusters Scam Prevention Hotline is strictly for individuals seeking scam prevention assistance. Any misuse, including prank calls, harassment, or fraudulent claims, may result in refusal of service. ByteBusters Consulting, LLC. reserves the right to block repeat offenders who abuse the hotline or attempt to deceive our agents.
